'Air rage' woman due to be sentenced in New Year

A WOMAN who was involved in an 'air rage' incident had the case at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, adjourned to mid-January for a pre-sentence report.

Sarah McGuire (40), of Tyrconnell Street in Derry/Londonderry, was initially charged with assault; being disorderly at Belfast International Airport; failing to obey a pilot's command; and behaving in a threatening, abusive, insulting or disorderly manner towards a crew member.

The charges relate to October 18, 2020.
