Alleged driving offences at seaside holiday park in County Down

A MAN accused of driving with excess alcohol in his breath 'in a public place' - Ballyferris Holiday Park near Ballywalter - has had the case further adjourned to March 7.
Gareth Raymond Coombs (48), is also alleged to have failed to stop, remain and report an accident on Friday October 8 last year.
He is further accused of failing to provide a specimen of breath and is alleged to have assaulted a police officer.
The case is due to be contested.
Newtownards Magistrates Court heard the defence claim the incident happened at a "fixed site" and "is not a caravan park which is open to the public".
A defence lawyer said: "It is a fixed site for owner-occupiers. We say it is not a public place."
