Alleged New Year's Day incident at Ulster Hospital: Case further adjourned

A MAN accused of entering a staff room in the Ulster Hospital at Dundonald with intent to steal on New Year's Day has had the case further adjourned to March 9.

David Robert Thompson (39), of Whincroft House, Southland Dale, Belfast, is charged in relation to January 1, 2022.

He is also charged with intent to steal at Asda in Dundonald and is also accused of assaulting a male occasioning him actual bodily harm on January 1.

The case was mentioned at Newtownards Magistrates Court.
