Alleged theft of alcohol from Tesco

A WOMAN with a Kells address is accused of stealing £110 worth of alcohol from Tesco in Ballymena.

Louise Browne (32), of Fernisky Terrace, is alleged to have committed the offence on July 7 this year.

She is also charged with assaulting a police officer on July 7.

The defendant also allegedly took alcohol worth £105 from Tesco on July 4 and items worth £10 from SuperValu in Kells on May 28 this year.

At Ballymena Magistrates' Court the case was adjourned to August 11.
