'Angry' motorist caught speeding at 103mph

A MOTORIST who was in a "very angry mood" on his way from a 'holiday home' in Portrush was detected driving at 103mph.

Michael McGrady (29), a tree surgeon, of Lisbarnet Road near Ballygowan, was detected at the M2 motorway at Rathbeg near Antrim town on August 19 this year.

A defence solicitor told Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, the defendant had been driving for 12 years "with absolutely no infractions".

The defendant was banned from driving for a month and fined £200.
