Ballymena man is accused of stealing steaks and Champagne from Marks & Spencer

A BALLYMENA man is accused of stealing steaks and Champagne from Marks & Spencer.

Gary Donegan (38), of Holland Park, is alleged to have taken ten steaks worth £193 on January 13 this year; ten steaks worth £184 on January 30; alcohol worth £182 on February 3 and Champagne worth £70 on February 26.

He is also charged with stealing candles and razors worth £105 from Semi-Chem in Ballymena on December 18 last year and possessing heroin on February 11 this year.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court, where John McAtamney was the defence solicitor, the case was adjourned to March 24.
