Ballymena man is charged with leaving vehicle in 'dangerous position'

A MAN with a Ballymena address is charged with 'leaving a vehicle in a dangerous position'.

William Jake Stewart (22), of Carndale Meadows, is charged with causing a vehicle 'to remain at rest on a road in such circumstances as to cause or to be likely to cause any obstruction or danger'.

The charge relates to Carndale Meadows on April 13 this year.

He faces a second charge of 'failing to set handbrake'.

The specifics of that charge are 'that you left or caused or permitted to be left on a road, a motor vehicle which was not attended by a person licensed to drive it and the parking brake of which was not effectively set'.

Full details have yet to be outlined to Ballymena Magistrates Court (main picture), where Stewart Ballentine was the defence solicitor, and the case was adjourned to November 25.
