Ballymena man with ASBO claims he called police about 'burglary'

A MAN accused of breaching an interim ASBO, by making 'persistent and unreasonable' demands of a PSNI call handler, claimed his property was burgled and he was asking police to investigate "certain property" at a nearby house, a defence solicitor said.

Gary Bailey (29), of Crebilly Road, Ballymena, is charged in relation to December 3, 2019.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court the case was adjourned to July 22.
