'Border patrol' charge denied

A MAN with a Belfast address has pleaded not guilty to breaching port and border patrols.

Shaun Gray (41), of Eglinton Street, is charged in relation to June 5, 2021.

It is alleged he 'wilfully obstructed, or sought to frustrate, a search or examination, under or by virtue of Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act 2000'.

No further details were given to Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena.

The case has been adjourned to April 12 to fix a date for a contest.

Meanwhile, he is accused of speeding in a 40mph zone on December 16, 2021.
