Chef accused of stealing £295 has matter further adjourned

A CHEF accused of stealing £295 cash belonging to staff at Pier 36 in Donaghadee has had the matter further adjourned to March 16.

Lewis Edward Robertson (31), of Hyndford Street in Belfast, is accused of 'theft by employee' relating to December 9, 2021.

A defence lawyer told an earlier hearing at Newtownards Magistrates Court (main picture) it was an allegation of a "breach of trust theft from his employer".
