County Antrim man (49) attacked two police officers

A 49-year-old man who kicked out and struck two policemen has been told by District Judge Nigel Broderick: "Courts will not tolerate this sort of behaviour".

Alexander James Johnstone, of Donore Crescent, Antrim town, admitted two assaults which occurred on January 15 this year.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court he was put on Probation for a year and ordered to do 75 hours of Community Service.
