County Antrim man admits breaking into pub on St Patrick's Day

A DEFENCE solicitor told Antrim Magistrates Court a man has admitted burglary with intent to steal at the Top of the Town pub in the town on St Patrick's Day this year.

However, the defence lawyer said, Gerarld Gould (44), of Donegore Drive, Antrim, denies having a knife during the incident.

At Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, the case was adjourned to August 10.
