County Antrim man couldn't sit driving test because of pandemic but then 'foolishly' took to the roads

A BALLYCLARE man (22), who a defence solicitor said was unable to sit his driving test due to the covid pandemic, "foolishly" took to the road without the supervision of a qualified driver and without L plates on May 1 this year.

Stefan Boyd, of Rashee Park, was detected at Linn Road in Larne, and at Ballymena Magistrates Court he was given three penalty points and fined £200.
