County Antrim man is accused of having a brush shaft as an offensive weapon

A MAN accused of possessing a brush shaft as an offensive weapon with intent to commit grievous bodily harm has had his case further adjourned to November 4.

Stephen Meeke (58), of Station Road, Cullybackey, is also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent on the same date - May 27 this year.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court, where the defence solicitor was Stephen McCann, it was adjourned to November 4.
