County Down man denies 'disturbing wild bird'

A CONLIG man denies a charge of 'disturbing a wild bird whilst nesting'.

Aaron Blair (33), of Ardvanagh Park, is charged in relation to May 28, 2021.

The full details of the charge are that the defendant 'intentionally or recklessly disturbed a wild bird while it was building a nest or was in, on or near a nest containing eggs or young contrary to Article 4(6)(a) of the Wildlife (NI) Order 1985'.

At Newtownards Magistrates Court the case was adjourned to March 29.
