County Down man is accused of possessing snooker cue as offensive weapon

A MAN is accused of possessing a snooker cue as an offensive weapon in a public place - the area of Windmill Street in Ballynahinch.

Michael Murray (32), of High Street in Ballynahinch, is charged in relation to September 25 this year.

He is also charged with assault and causing criminal damage to a T-shirt.

At Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Monday morning the case was adjourned to October 28.
