County Down man is charged with having hacksaw and spade as offensive weapons

A DOWNPATRICK man is charged with assault; making a threat to kill and possessing a hacksaw and spade as offensive weapons.

Christopher Murray (42), of Irish Street, is charged in relation to an incident at Ballyhornan on January 8 this year.

At Downpatrick Magistrates Court the case was adjourned to October 25 to fix a date for a contest.
