County Down woman allegedly attempted to acquire 'prohibited weapon'

A NEWTOWNARDS woman is accused of attempting to possess a 'prohibited weapon' - a 'combined stun gun and light/torch device'.

Debbie Robb (53), of Ravara Close, is charged in relation to July 14, 2020.

The case has been adjourned to June 10 for a contest at Newtownards Magistrates' Court.

A defence lawyer said: "It comes down to intent from the defendant".
