A COURT has been told a man had a "large gash" on his head and was covered by blood.
Details emerged at Downpatrick Magistrates Court regarding Robert Mills (34), of Jordans Close, Clough.
He admitted breaching bail on Sunday September 26 this year by taking alcohol and being in Downpatrick.
He was on bail after being charged with offences on July 13 this year including harassment, assault and causing criminal damage to a Buddha Statue.
A police officer said police were called to Glebetown Drive in Downpatrick at 2.15am on September 26.
A woman had "blood running from her nose".
Mills arrived at the property and police saw a saw a "large gash" to his head and he was "covered in blood".
He was in breach of bail and arrested.
The defendant claimed he had been "bottled".
Mills was released on bail with a ban on entering Downpatrick.
The case was adjourned to October 18.
