Court hears man subject of 'threat' was 'stabbed' in Ballymena

A DEFENCE lawyer said a man who used to live in Ballymena was unable to complete Probation because of a "threat" against him entering the town where he had been "stabbed".

Barrister Neil Moore was speaking at Ballymena Magistrates Court regarding Adam Watt (20), with an address in Belfast, who is charged with breaching the Probation Order.

The lawyer asked for Watt to be allowed to complete the Probation Order outside Ballymena and the case was adjourned to October 7.
