Court hears of 'fatality'

NEWTOWNARDS Magistrates Court has been told of a "fatality".

Mark Hinton (33), of Lismore Avenue, Bangor, is charged with possessing Class C drugs - Pregabalin, Tramadol and Suboxone - on January 30 this year.

A defence lawyer said the accused had been "granted High Court bail".

District Judge Mark Hamill asked if the defendant was charged with "simple possession" as he noted the defendant had previously been refused bail.

The defence lawyer, Court News NI can report, told the court: "There was a fatality around it, of someone else".

No further details were given to the court.

The case was adjourned to April 6.
