Court in Ballymena hears man burgled 'nurses' private quarters'

A MAN with an "appalling" criminal record burgled "nurses' private quarters," a defence barrister told a court in Ballymena.

Michael Connors (26), of Rock Mills in Derry/Londonderry, admitted several offences relating to January 31, 2019, Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, heard.

Full details were not given to the court but the charge sheet shows the defendant had stolen keys, mobile phones, a coat and a bag of coins

Defence barrister Ben Thompson said the defendant has an "appalling record and has burgled nurses' private quarters in the hospital".

The case was adjourned to August 31.
