'Disorderly behaviour' charge will be withdrawn if man (62) pens letter of apology to Antrim Area Hospital staff

A COURT has been told a 62-year-old man will have charges of being disorderly at Antrim Area Hospital and assaulting a police officer withdrawn for a caution if he writes "letters of apology".
Stephen Spence, of Ballyclare Road, Newtownabbey, is charged in relation to December 23 last year.
A defence lawyer said the defendant was "keen" to write two letters of apology.
A prosecutor said they would be sent to "the investigating officer and the hospital staff".
At Ballymena Magistrates Court the case was adjourned to March 3.
