Limavady man is accused of 'jaywalking' at motorway

A LIMAVADY man is accused of 'jaywalking' on the M22 motorway near Antrim town.

The specifics of the charge faced by William Patrick James Craig (33), of Enagh Park, are that 'being a pedestrian endangered your own safety or that of another person through your own negligence on a road' on March 3 this year.

He is also charged with driving with excess alcohol at the M22 and insurance and driving licence offences.

At Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, it was adjourned to April 12.
