Lorry driver charged over seizure of '£1.25 million' worth of drugs at Larne Port has case further adjourned

A LORRY driver charged in connection with the seizure of drugs worth an estimated £1.25 million at Larne Port has had his case further adjourned to February 24, Ballymena Magistrates Court has been told.

Donald Moore (59), of Forthriver Road in Belfast, is charged with possession of cocaine, ketamine and cannabis with intent to supply.

He is also charged with possession of 'criminal property' and possessing a baton as an offensive weapon in a public place.

The charges relate to December 17 last year.

The defendant had previously been given bail when he first appeared at court on December 20.
