Man accused of breaking into Antrim pub on St Patrick’s Day ‘to get drink’ has matter further adjourned

A MAN accused of breaking into a pub on St Patrick’s Day last year "to get drink" has had the matter at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, further adjourned to mid-March this year.

Gerald Gould (45) was allegedly found by police in Antrim’s Top of the Town bar and grill.

He is charged with aggravated burglary of the bar with intent to steal.

Gould, of Donegore Drive, Antrim, is also accused of causing criminal damage to items including windows, roof tiles, plastic roofing and a coffee machine.
