Man accused of causing unnecessary suffering to a cat has case further adjourned

A MAN accused of causing unnecessary suffering to a cat has had the case further adjourned.

Kormelijus Bracas (23), of Church View in Randalstown, is charged in relation to the end of August and the start of September this year.

He is also charged with injuring a cat and entering an address at Tresna Park in Randalstown and threatening 'violence' against a female in breach of a Restraining Order.

He is also accused of stealing a bank card and £7 cash belonging to the female.

Full details were not outlined to Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena.

A defence lawyer said the defendant is Lithuanian and was able to be interviewed without an interpreter.

At Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, the case was adjourned to November 9.
