Man accused of robbing security guard in Ballymena has charge withdrawn

A MAN with a Ballymena address who had been accused of robbing a security guard of a bag containing alcohol and razors has had the charge withdrawn.

Christopher Mouland (32), of Devenagh Way, faces other charges in relation to an alleged incident in June this year.

He is accused of being disorderly at Tesco at Larne Road Link in Ballymena and entering the shop with intent to steal.

The defendant is also charged with resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty and attempting to cause criminal damage to a police vehicle.

He is also accused of possessing cocaine, Lyrica and Zopliclone on June 2 this year.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court the cases were adjourned to September 7.
