Man charged with stealing 'peacock feathers'

A NEWTOWNABBEY man is accused of stealing 'peacock feathers' in a burglary at Redhall Drive, Ballycarry.

Lee Morrow (34), of Whitehouse Court, is also charged with stealing mail from the address on January 4 this year.

He is further accused of stealing a chainsaw and rain gauge worth '£200' on January 4 and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty on January 5 this year.

At Ballymena Magistrates' Court the case was adjourned to July 14.
