Man denies charges connected to alleged 'stabbing with pair of scissors'

A MAN denies charges connected to an allegation of a "stabbing with a pair of scissors and a sustained attack inside a house".

Some details surrounding the alleged incident were previously given by a defence lawyer at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena.

Isaac Hillen (35), of Clanmorris Street in Belfast, is charged in relation to April 11 this year.

He is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm; assault; causing criminal damage to a window and the theft of two mobile phones.

The full details have yet to be outlined and the case has been adjourned to mid-January for a contest.
