A MAN denies charges of assault, having cocaine and possessing a wheel brace as an offensive weapon at Donore Crescent in Antrim.

Attila Markus (37), of Starfield, Randalstown, is charged in relation to June 22, 2019.

A defence lawyer told Ballymena Magistrates Court (main picture) he had viewed CCTV and the defendant was denying all three charges.

The case has been adjourned to September 2 to fix a date for a contest and the court was told a Hungarian interpreter would be needed.
