A MAN from Broughshane was found with cannabis hidden in his "groin area" when police searched him and a vehicle.
Details emerged at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, regarding Lee McKelvey (29), of Houston Park.
That was in October 2020 but earlier that year, in April, he was also detected with cocaine and cannabis and phone messages indicated "low level" supply.
In November, 2020 he was again caught with cocaine and cannabis.
The defendant appeared at court via a video link from Liverpool where he is now working.
Defence barrister Michael Smith said the defendant had been completing a Probation Order by telephone and there had been no further "issues".
The defendant was given a five months prison term, suspended for two years.
