Man is accused of indecent exposure

A MAN with addresses listed on separate charge sheets as being in Newtownards and Bangor faces a number of charges of indecent exposure.

Mark James Patrick McArdle (51), of Carmen Lane in Bangor and John Street Mews in Ards, had the cases mentioned at Newtownards Magistrates Court.

In relation to June 24 and June 25, 2019, he faces two counts of committing an act of a 'lewd, obscene and disgusting nature' by exposing himself to a female and then a male and he is also charged that he 'intentionally exposed your genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress'.

On July 16, 2019, he is accused of committing an act of a 'lewd, obscene and disgusting nature' by exposing himself to a female and he faces a second charge that he 'intentionally exposed your genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress'.

He is charged with exposing himself to a female and intentionally exposing his genitals in relation to November 5, 2019.

District Judge Mark Hamill said he was "unimpressed" by the length of time the case is taking.

It was adjourned to December 22 to fix a date for the charges to be contested.
