Man is accused of possessing knife at supermarket car park in Ballymena

A MAN is accused of possessing an offensive weapon - a flick knife - at the car park of the Tesco store at Larne Road Link in Ballymena.

Stefan Ralston (31), with an address listed as High Street in Ballymena, is charged in relation to January 13 this year.

He is also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an an offensive weapon - a baseball bat - on June 17 this year.

The defendant appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court via video link from prison and the cases were adjourned to November 25.
