Man is accused of stealing £280 in robbery

A MAN is accused of robbing a male of £280.

Joseph McDonnell (25), of Main Street in Crumlin but formerly of Suffolk Square in Antrim, is charged in relation to December 4 last year.

Relating to the same date he is also charged with possessing a knife with intent to commit robbery and attempting to rob another person of cash.

At Antrim Magistrates Court sitting in Ballymena (main picture) - where the defence barrister was Aaron Thompson -  the defendant was further remanded in custody and had his case sent to Antrim Crown Court.
