Man is accused of stealing 'bread and assorted bakery goods' worth '£2,000'

A MAN is accused of stealing bread and 'assorted bakery goods' with, according to a charge sheet, a value of '£2,000' between January 1 and September 30 last year.

Hugh Boyd (64), of Glenview Wood in Belfast, is charged with theft from Spar at Comber Road, Dundonald.

He appeared at Newtownards Magistrates' Court and had the case adjourned to June 30.
