Man is accused of stealing over £1,000 worth of alcohol from Tesco in Crumlin in run up to Christmas

A MAN is accused of stealing alcohol worth over £1,000 from Tesco in Crumlin in the run up to Christmas last year.

Ciaran Francis Daly (33), of Selby Walk in Belfast, is charged with the theft of alcohol worth £1,053 from the supermarket on December 20 last year.

He is also alleged to have taken a bottle of whiskey worth £36 from the shop on December 19 last year.

At  Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, the case was adjourned to March 8.
