Man is charged with being pedestrian on M2 motorway

A MAN is accused of being a pedestrian on the M2 motorway.

Caolam Diver (23), with an address listed as no fixed abode in Belfast, is charged in relation to June 22 this year.

He is also accused of assaulting and resisting a police officer on the same date.

In relation to June 21 he is accused of stealing medication from a staff only area at a residential care home - The Pines - at Holywell Hospital in Antrim.

The court heard the defendant is currently in Holywell.

The case at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, was adjourned to September 28 for a further update.
