Man sent 'appalling' text messages

A WHITEHEAD man who sent "appalling" text messages has admitted harassment.

Wesley Fletcher (52), of Old Forde Gardens, was charged in relation to May this year.

A defence lawyer told Ballymena Magistrates' Court (main picture) there was a "matrimonial background" and the text messages were "appalling".

Full details have yet to be outlined to the court.

The case has been adjourned to September 1 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
