A MAN has admitted shoplifting items worth £4.25 from the Centra store at Junction One in Antrim which he had previously robbed.
Eamonn Murphy (24), of Corbally Avenue, Antrim, admitted theft in relation to April 28 this year.
In February this year the defendant had been sentenced for robbing £308 cash from the same store in 2017 of £300 in cash and having a knife as an offensive weapon.
Full details of the new offence have yet to be outlined at Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena.
Defence solicitor Garret McCann said the defendant had a "very relevant" entry on his record.
He told the court the defendant's instructions were that he hopes to enter 'rehab'.
The case was adjourned to mid-October for a pre-sentence report.
