Man with County Tyrone address admits contravening speed limit on M2 near Antrim

A MAN with a County Tyrone address has admitted contravening a 70mph speed limit.

Paul Dermot Conroy (35), of Main Street in Beragh, committed the offence on April 29 this year.

He is also charged with using a Ford Fiesta without insurance on the same date at Rathbeg on the M2 motorway near Antrim town.

A defence lawyer told Ballymena Magistrates Court, where the case has been adjourned to August 5, the defendant is a Canadian national.

The full details of the case have yet to be outlined to the court.
