Motorist (76) receives penalty points for 'passing close' to cyclist
A 76-YEAR-OLD woman has admitted driving without due care and attention following an incident involving her vehicle and a cyclist at Portaferry Road, Newtownards.
Rosie Simpson, of Strangford Park, committed the offence on December 19 last year.
Newtownards Magistrates' Court heard a cyclist reported a "close pass" and images of the incident had been recorded.
The defendant was given three penalty points and fined £200.
