Motorist is accused of doing 107mph in County Antrim

A MOTORIST accused of doing 107mph on the A26 is set to plead guilty, defence barrister Chris Sherrard said.

Michael William Drysdale had the case mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court in his absence on his 33rd birthday.

The defendant, of Ravenhill Avenue, Belfast, is accused of exceeding a 70mph speed limit on August 28 this year.

The case was adjourned to November 25.
