Newtownards Court hears 20 people were at property in breach of Covid rules

A PROSECUTOR told Newtownards Magistrates Court 20 people were found at a house on May 23 last year in breach of Covid regulations.

Gareth Porter (48), of Main Street, Conlig, pleaded guilty to contravening a Covid regulation and was fined £60 along with a £15 offender levy.

A number of other people are accused of contravening the Covid regulations on May 23 - William Adair (38), of Weavers Grange, Newtownards; Gareth Gill (50), of Stirling Avenue, Newtownards; Mark Sewell (43), of Glenmount Drive, Newtownabbey and Mark Anthony Clifton (37), of Berkley Square, Bangor.

Those cases were adjourned to January 26.
