Police found cannabis plants growing in bedroom of a house in Ballymena's Drumtara estate

A COURT heard a man refused to open a door for police but when officers finally gained entry they found 25 cannabis plants growing in a bedroom at a house at Ballymena's Drumtara estate.

The occupant Kenneth Preston (44) has admitted cultivating cannabis, possessing cannabis and dishonestly using electricity.
