Randalstown man calls judge 'boss'

A RANDALSTOWN man who was disorderly at Antrim Area Hospital has had sentencing adjourned to March 24 for a pre-sentence report.

Seamus Connor (41), of Neillsbrook View, committed the offence on May 27 last year.

The defendant appeared via video link from Maghaberry Prison at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

When District Judge Nigel Broderick asked him if he could see and hear the court the defendant replied: "I can boss".

A defence lawyer said the defendant had previously been given bail but he was unable to find a "suitable address".
