Randalstown man is accused of dangerous driving

A RANDALSTOWN man is accused of driving dangerously at New Street in the town on February 4 this year.

Spencer Downey (27), of New Street, is also alleged to have failed to stop for police at New Street.

Also in relation to Febraury 4 he is charged with absence of insurance and MOT and having a defective tyre.

He is further charged with assaulting and resisting a police officer.

In relation to January 24 this year the defendant is charged with driving dangerously at Moneynick Road and Ballydunmaul Road near Randalstown; failing to stop for police at Moneynick Road; and insurance, MOT and licence offences.

At Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, the case was adjourned to March 15.
