Three people are accused of offences across Northern Ireland including alleged theft of honey worth over £600

THREE people listed as having the same address at Hawthorne Crescent in Dunloy are accused of a string of thefts and alleged frauds in a number of areas across Northern Ireland including the theft of Manuka Honey worth £665.

They are Constantine-Mugrel Serban (39); Elisabeth Dascalu (50) and Laurentia Savin (32).

Charges include the theft of a purse containing debit and credit cards; a wallet; and perfume, cigarettes and alcohol from "various businesses".

There are also charges of the theft of Manuka Honey worth £370 and £295 from Holland and Barrett stores in Magherafelt and Coleraine.

There are also accusations of fraudulent use of debit cards to buy cigarettes and alcohol.

The charges relate to November and December last year.

The court heard two defendants are in custody on remand and one is at "liberty".

At Ballymena Magistrates Court the case was adjourned to September 16.
