Woman accused of being disorderly at Belfast International Airport is set to have charges withdrawn for a caution

A WOMAN who had been accused of assaulting a constable and being disorderly at Belfast International Airport is set to have the charges withdrawn for a caution.

Emma Roche (41), with an address given as Broadway Market in London, was charged in relation to April 26, 2019.

The case was mentioned at Antrim Magistrates' Court, sitting in Ballymena, where a defence barrister said the defendant suffers from "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and advised that she was too nervous to attend court this morning".

He added: "All I can suggest is taking the matter, perhaps for four weeks, to see if her 'nerves' improve".

A police officer said police could call out with the defendant.

The case has been adjourned to later this month.
