A WOMAN who had attended the 'Planet Love' musical festival was later caught driving over the limit.
Kayleigh Goodwin (27), of Muckamore Garden Village, Antrim, came to police attention at 1.25am on September 12 this year.
Police saw a car in Antrim town braking "unnecessarily" and "not stopping on the white lines at a set of traffic lights".
The defendant had an alcohol in breath reading of 59 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35.
Defence solicitor Niall Small said the defendant, who he said hopes to finish a degree in social work, was "deeply ashamed" and apologetic.
He said the defendant had taken to the road after receiving a phone call about a family matter and realises she should have taken a taxi.
At Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena, the defendant was banned from driving for a year and fined £200.
